Traditional Thai Massage
Traditional Thai Massage, also called Thai Yoga massage, is performed on a padded mat on the floor while the client is fully clothed in yoga clothes or loose fitting clothing. This massage is often described as being energizing or invigorating. The focus is on the sen (energy pathways) while the therapists uses their hands, feet, legs, body weight, etc. to open these blocked pathways.
Also known as Therapeutic, Neuromuscular, or Myofascial, this massage is aimed at working on the connective tissue (fascia) and muscles that are unable to release on their own. While Deep Tissue is a broad term used in defining massage, there are many different modalities (types of massage) that can be incorporated into this terminology.
A vigorous massage that involves targeted muscle groups which are specific to the athlete and event. Will also include stretching, range of motion techniques, trigger point work and Swedish massage.
Enjoy a massage at the same time, in the same room with your special someone. There will be one therapist per person and the massage experience will be individually tailored for each of you.
This therapeutic session is performed using the bodyCushion System that allows women to lay on their stomach, feeling completely supported at all times. Benefits include an increase in circulation, a decrease in swelling, a strengthening of the immune system and the reduction of pain and discomfort associated with strained, stretched or out of place muscles and joints. This massage also greatly improves the immune system. Prenatal Massage is also referred to as Maternity Massage or Pregnancy Massage.
Table Thai is a trademarked style of massage that was developed by Joel Sheposh, who resides in Phoenix, Arizona. It is Thai Bodywork that is performed on a massage table and combines pressure point techniques with a variety of stretching movements.
